Call for appt. Includes health history, exam, hearing,  vision, developmental and laboratory screenings. Kindergarten, day care children and day care providers, Kan Be Healthy and brief nursing assessments. Fees apply and insurances accepted.

WIC
Women, Infants, and Children 
Nutrition education and supplemental food program for pregnant or breastfeeding women, infants and children up to the age of 5 years.  Free!

  • Nutrition education, recipes and money saving tips when buying food

WIC Breastfeeding Peer Support 
“Breast is Best”
Breastfeeding provides life long health benefits. Professional staff available who are trained and   certified breastfeeding consultants. Provide breastfeeding instructions, support and problem solving.  Available by phone, home and office visits.


Breastfeeding Clinic & Coalition

Available during clinic hours.  Call ahead to ensure lactation staff availability. 
Breast pumps and other supplies available. Reasonable fees for renting and/or purchasing equipment.

Maternal and Infant Program (M&I) Minimize
Starting prenatal care in the first trimester of pregnancy is important for the health of the mother and the infant. The M&I program is available to all pregnant women for education and support. Services provided by a registered nurse, social worker and nutritionist. The program also assists in arranging prenatal care for women who are unable to afford private care due to the lack of insurance and other barriers to finding care.

Healthy Start Home Visitor
Home visits made to expectant and delivered mothers and infants. Help with questions and concerns that may come up once the family is home from the hospital. Community resources provided.
