The City of Larned will have a City-wide tree and limb pick up on Wednesday August 21st for those experiencing problems due to the wind storm. Please take all branches and limbs to the curb, no later than 7 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21st.
To expedite pick up, please help by:
-Placing everything close enough to the curb to be picked up from the Street, as our crews will not go on private property.
-Cutting items into sections that are no longer than 6-8 feet in length
-Placing cut sections in the same direction
-Parking any vehicles away from the pile, by the curb
-Keeping lumber and construction waste out of the pile, as we are not allowed to take these items to the landfill
Please help your neighbors with their branches and limbs, particularly if they are elderly or disabled. Once crews have passed your house on the 21st, the branches and limbs will be the resident’s responsibility
